Vacuum unit for transformer solid insulation freezing “Iney”

The “Iney” unit is designed for vacuuming and sub-drying the solid insulation of power transformers with voltages of 110-1150 kV, during their assembly, maintenance, and repair.

The unit is used for transformers whose tanks withstand a pressure of 26 Pa. The use of a unit for transformers whose tanks do not withstand a pressure of 26 Pa is possible after necessary reinforcement of the tank, coordinated with the transformer manufacturer.

During the sub-drying of solid insulation of power transformers with voltages of 500-1150 kV, to accelerate the vacuuming process from atmospheric pressure to 400 Pa, a connection point for a preliminary vacuum unit or an additional fore vacuum pump using a flexible vacuum hose Dn100 mm is provided.

The connection of the unit to the transformer is made using a flexible vacuum hose Dn150 mm.

The design of the unit is suitable for outdoor operation at temperatures from -20 to +40 °C.

The operating mode of the unit is continuous.

The unit is not suitable for use in explosive, poisonous environments, or in environments that react with lubricating materials.

When using the unit in enclosed spaces, it is necessary to ensure the removal of evacuated gases from the space.
